Stlbloggers is mostly alive. Login/logoff works. Pinging works.Posting new messages works. Leaving comments works. The twitter bot will be up later
You may have to logout and back in again. Leave a comment here if it still isn't working for you.

at 9/16/2008 9:45:13 AM- I was able to ping, but from Safari only. Maybe it was just a one-time snafu, and I haven't gone back to check since, but couldn't ping from Firefox.

at 9/16/2008 6:05:05 PM- I still can't get it to ping. When I log in it works, I get all the extra options, but when I go to ping it tells me that my user name doesn't exist. I've tried logging in and out etc, to no avail. Is there a way to get my username/password re-emailed to me?

at 9/16/2008 6:11:56 PM- Can I get my username and password re emailed to me? I had mine set to just have me logged in constantly and it's been so long since I had to log in/out that I can't remember what either are.

at 9/19/2008 4:18:53 PM- I was having the same problem. I found that my username was now case-sensitive and 1 word rather than 2. Once I logged in that way everything worked fine.
ie: dan jaboor became DanJaboor

at 9/26/2008 9:40:31 PM- I set up a new account, but when I ping, the link wants to add "stlbloggers" to the beginning of my URL. I've noticed that this has happened to others, but I can't figure out how to get rid of it. casachristy.wordpress.com

at 10/1/2008 12:22:12 PM- Before the outage, I never had to re-login from the computers I use most often. I don't think I entered a password for months. Now I have to login everytime before I can ping. Maybe its a different symptom of the same issue?

at 10/19/2008 1:55:16 PM- I'm also having a pinging issue -- when I ping (and I use firefox) I have to log in, ping, go to the main page, log in again, and ping again.
